Our Services
Our services are structured across three distinct steps, which can be engaged individually or as a complete process, depending on the size, complexity, and needs of each project.

Clients may appoint us solely to design a sponsorship strategy, to identify and develop suitable partnerships, or to deliver independent progress reports on existing campaigns, including partnerships we have not originated.

Each step is priced separately and delivered with the same level of rigour and discretion. This flexible approach allows clients to access strategic thinking, partnership development, or honest review exactly where it adds the greatest value.

Step 1: The Strategy

The Strategy is where every successful partnership begins. We meet with our client to understand the commercial context, objectives, pressures, and expectations surrounding sponsorship. Through structured discussion, we clarify purpose, define success, and challenge assumptions. We conclude this phase by designing a clear, defensible sponsorship strategy that sets direction before any assets are considered. This ensures sponsorship is intentional, aligned, and capable of delivering long-term value rather than short-term exposure.

Step 2: The Relatonship

The Partnership phase turns strategy into alignment. Using sponsorship as a vehicle rather than a logo placement, we identify and connect brands with partners that genuinely fit the strategy defined in Step 1. We focus on shared values, audience relevance, and long-term potential, not availability. The result is a partnership that feels natural, purposeful, and commercially sound — designed to perform as a relationship, not simply exist as a branding exercise.

Step 3: The Progress Report

The Progress Report ensures partnerships evolve rather than stagnate. At each twelve-month period, we meet with key stakeholders from both sides to assess performance honestly. This is a transparent, conversation-led review that examines what is working, what isn’t, and why. The outcome is a clear progress report that allows the partnership to be refined, strengthened, and improved year-on-year, protecting long-term value for all involved.

Daniel Godding

Founder and CEO

 

Daniel Godding is a respected figure in the international golf industry, with deep experience across the professional tours, commercial partnerships, and the business of the game. He spent ten years as CEO of the PGA EuroPro Tour, where he helped build the tour into one of Europe’s leading developmental circuits, delivering television exposure, securing major commercial partners, and providing a pathway for emerging talent to progress to the DP World Tour and PGA Tour.​

 

Daniel has also been directly involved in brokering significant partnerships within professional golf, including the introduction that led to HotelPlanner becoming title partner of the Challenge Tour.​

 

He is an officially accredited player manager and agent on the PGA Tour, giving him direct access to the highest level of the professional game. Through decades in golf, he has built trusted relationships with leading tours, tournament organisers, commercial partners, and many of the world’s best players.​

 

Daniel’s connection to golf began as a PGA Professional, training at Worplesdon Golf Club in Surrey between 1996 and 1999. He remains a passionate and competitive golfer today, playing to a handicap of 2.​

 

He founded Global Sport Sponsorship and Global Golf Sponsorship to provide a specialist agency dedicated to golf partnerships. The agency works with brands and rights holders across the professional tours, events, and players, structuring partnerships that deliver clear commercial value and long-term alignment.​

 

With a unique perspective as a former tour CEO, PGA professional, accredited player agent, and lifelong golfer, Daniel brings an insider’s understanding of how the golf ecosystem works and how to build partnerships that genuinely succeed.

Lead Partner

 

Matthew Oliver brings over 15 years of experience in advertising and brand building across London and New York.

 

During this time, he has worked with established businesses and high-growth start-ups, including guiding two companies through to successful acquisition.​A dual UK and US citizen, Matthew offers a genuinely global perspective and a deep understanding of how brands connect with audiences across markets and cultures.

 

His background in building scale, narrative, and commercial relevance informs his approach to partnerships.​

 

Today, Matthew applies this experience to sport, focusing on developing intelligent, mutually beneficial partnerships that expand reach, grow engaged audiences, and create lasting value for both brands and rights holders.
